Specialists in design and calculation of metal structures, knot definition, single-line and detail engineering, 3D modeling and parameterization, project management and construction management.

Building Information Modeling

In Metaldeza we have been using a new work methodology called BIM that is giving us great results.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a collaborative work methodology for the creation and management of a construction project. Its objective is to centralize all the information of a project in a digital information model created by all its agents.

BIM assumes the evolution of the design systems in the plan, since it incorporates geometric (3D), time (4D), cost (5D), environmental (6D) and maintenance (7D) information.

The use of BIM goes beyond the design phases, encompassing the execution of the project and extending throughout the life cycle of the building, allowing the management of the same and reducing operating costs.

OpenBIM is a universal approach to the collaborative design, realization and operation of constructions based on workflows and open standards.
