A metallic structure of 40,000 square meters
Metaldeza recently finished the metal structure of the exhibition Hall of the new Parc de Expositions (PEX) in Toulouse.
The new Exhibition Park (PEX) of Toulouse, is a project conceived as a new entrance to the city, with spaces for concerts, conventions and exhibitions. The project, located in the northwest of the city, near the Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, has 338.000 m2 and is designed to be a compact mini-city.
The works began in October of the year 2016 the PEx will be able to adapt to a wide range of configurations. Therefore, beyond the versatility of the exhibition hall and the covered exhibition area of 70.000 m², it will offer, with the convention hall, new spaces in separate buildings, of a sufficient size to accommodate events and professional events main recreational activities.
Metaldeza, carried out the metallic structure of the exhibition Hall, a metallic cover of 40 000 square meters .

The structure of the exhibition spaces and the event Hall form a continuous three-dimensional grid that extends to include the facade and the ceiling, providing a generic system of “complements” for the services and for exhibitors in the rooms of Exhibitions. Exhibitors ‘ and trucks ‘ access to exhibition halls is held on a slope from the north or south side of the exhibition halls, with the largest showroom in the southwest with a full-height door that slides along the facade to oversize objects.
Resort
A space located to the east of the exhibition Park will be mainly destined to host a hotel complex and catering establishments. The work will begin in June 2019 for an opening scheduled for the beginning of 2021. In total, 295 rooms will be available for guests.
Business Village
This “Business City” will be located west of the PEx. It will be designed to accommodate mainly commercial premises associated with offices. This large “city” is easily accessible thanks to the new road infrastructure.
